About Betty
Betty is an AI office assistant for busy professionals. It takes on the everyday writing and thinking work that fills a working day: drafting emails and letters, preparing reports and proposals, reading and summarising documents, and helping you plan and decide.
Why we built it
Too much of a professional's day goes into routine office work. Betty gives you a capable assistant that understands plain language, so you can spend your time on the work only you can do.
What it does today
- Writes emails, letters, reports, proposals and minutes with you, in clear South African English.
- Reads the PDFs and images you attach and answers questions about them.
- Turns any answer into a document you can edit and download as Word or PDF.
- Keeps your private notes in one place.
- Creates images from a description, for presentations, posts and documents.
- Analyses your spreadsheets (CSV or Excel): key figures, charts and a plain-language report.
- Keeps your calendar and to-do list: ask in plain language ("book a meeting on Thursday at 10"), check the details and add it with one click, also to Google Calendar or Outlook if you connect them.
- Saves your documents to Google Drive or OneDrive.
Who we are
Betty is made by Vertex Catalyst Group. The service is hosted in South Africa and billed in rand.
Your data
Your conversations and documents are yours. They are used only to give you your answers, never to train AI models. What you delete is removed from Betty. Read the details in our Privacy Policy.
